Exploring the Health of Female Foreign Domestic Worker Returnees from the Middle East
Mirna Hodzdic Mun, a Duke MSc student commenced the 1st twinning Program with her Sri Lankan counterpart Janithra De Silva (Lecturer, Department of Community Medicine) in June 2013 on a study titled “Exploring the Health of Female Foreign Domestic Worker Returnees from the Middle East” under the supervision of Dr. Vijitha De Silva, Prof. Truls Ostbye and Prof. Justine Strand and successfully completed her thesis defense. Mirna also supported the SLHMS study by developing a "generativity scale".
