The Hubert-Yeargan Center for Global Health at Duke University awarded certificates to  Dr. Thyagi Ponnamperuma, Dr. Nayani Weerasinghe, Dr. Subodha Wickramasinghe, and  Dr. Gayani Liyanage who had successfully completed the following online courses  Clinical Research Methodology, Principles of Clinical Research, and Introduction to Statistical Methods   The courses were taught by Dr. Bill Wilkerson of the Hubert-Yeargan Center. The certificate awarding ceremony was held on 09th September 2022 at the Dean’s office, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna. On this occasion, Prof. Vasantha Devasiri, Dr. Gaya Wijayaratne, Prof. Champica Bodinayake, Dr. Nayani Weerasinghe, Ms. Ruvini Kurukulasooriya, and Ms. Madureka Premamali were present to represent Ruhuna University, and  Dr. Brad Nicholson and Dr. Gayani Tillekeratne were present to represent Duke University.
